At the end of the day everyone has to adjust to technology in the workplace one way or another. In my opinion I don't see that technology can help HR with better monitoring employee performance. Still HR shouldn't heavily rely on technology and still have an active physical presence, depending on the industry, but specifically in the hospitality industry it's the very best to see employees in action especially when handling guests if their job entails that interaction.
